چکیده
Peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch) is one of the most produced and studied stone fruits. Many genetic genomic resources are available for this species, including a high-quality genome. More recently, new high-density Illumina peach Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) chip (9+9K) has been developed by an international consortium as add-on to previous 9K array. In current study, array was used study diversity population structure National Germplasm Collection Agrifood Research Technology Centre Aragon (CITA), located in Zaragoza (northern Spain). To accomplish this, 90 accessions were genotyped using SNP (9+9K). A total 9796 SNPs finally selected analyses. Through Identity-By-Descent (IBD) estimate analysis, 15 different groups with genetically identical individuals identified. The elucidated possible exchange germplasm material among regions, mainly northern regions Spain. This will allow more efficient management classifying valuable preservation benefit forthcoming Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) commercially important fruit traits peach.

Genome-wide analysis of the AP2/ERF superfamily in peach (Prunus persica).
We identified 131 AP2/ERF (APETALA2/ethylene-responsive factor) genes in material from peach using the gene sequences of AP2/ERF amino acids of Arabidopsis thaliana (Brassicaceae) as probes. Based on the number of AP2/ERF domains and individual gene characteristics, the AP2/ERF superfamily gene in peach can be classified broadly into three families, ERF (ethylene-responsive factor), RAV (r...
متن کاملGenome-wide analysis of the homeodomain-leucine zipper (HD-ZIP) gene family in peach (Prunus persica).
In this study, 33 homeodomain-leucine zipper (HD-ZIP) genes were identified in peach using the HD-ZIP amino acid sequences of Arabidopsis thaliana as a probe. Based on the phylogenetic analysis and the individual gene or protein characteristics, the HD-ZIP gene family in peach can be classified into 4 subfamilies, HD-ZIP I, II, III, and IV, containing 14, 7, 4, and 8 members, respectively. The ...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Identification of miRNAs Responsive to Drought in Peach (Prunus persica) by High-Throughput Deep Sequencing
Peach (Prunus persica L.) is one of the most important worldwide fresh fruits. Since fruit growth largely depends on adequate water supply, drought stress is considered as the most important abiotic stress limiting fleshy fruit production and quality in peach. Plant responses to drought stress are regulated both at transcriptional and post-transcriptional level. As post-transcriptional gene reg...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Identification, Expression Patterns, and Functional Analysis of UDP Glycosyltransferase Family in Peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch)
Peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch) is a commercial grown fruit trees, important because of its essential nutrients and flavor promoting secondary metabolites. The glycosylation processes mediated by UDP-glycosyltransferases (UGTs) play an important role in regulating secondary metabolites availability. Identification and characterization of peach UGTs is therefore a research priority. A total of ...
متن کاملMetabolomics Approach to Studying Minimally Processed Peach (Prunus persica) Fruit
Fresh-cut fruit products for both retail and food service applications have increasingly appeared in the market place in recent years. Among different fruit types, peaches can be used and are highly appreciated as fresh-cut product although their commercial success is limited due to their short shelf-life and the quick onset of wounding-related physiological reactions. In this work we analyzed ...
